Red Poha (Flattened Red Rice), is coarser in texture and contains more fibre than White Poha. The red colour is due to the presence of a pigment called anthocyanin in red rice. Like White Poha, it is very easy to cook and great for your gut. It is high in carbohydrates, which makes it a popular breakfast dish across India. It does not have a strong flavour of its own, hence carries seasonings especially well.
Storage Tips:
Transfer contents into an air-tight container after opening, then store in a cool and dry place, away from moisture.
