Cooking Tip
Amaranth flour has a malty flavour that works great in sweet and savoury recipes. Try using it in combination with other flours - as it makes for a nice addition to gluten free blends that also contain millets (bajra, jowar). Amaranth flour is high in protein, so it is great to layer in with whole wheat, emmer wheat, or all-purpose flour when baking for a protein boost.
