Foraged • Antioxidant Rich
Collected by our farmers from the hills of Uttrakhand, Timur (Indian Sichuan Pepper) has the cold spiciness of a Sichuan peppercorn with remarkable hints of grapefruit. When eaten as is, it leaves a tingling sensation on your tongue, and a light roasting brings out more of its flavor. It is traditionally ground into a powder and added to dal, rajma, curries, and can also be used to flavor soup.
