Considered to be divine in Hinduism, Tulsi is the queen of the herbs. Scientifically known as Ocimum tenuiflorum, tulsi is known to nourish the body, the mind and the spirit. From the stem to the leaves, every part of the tulsi plant is revered as a goddess.
Tulsi Powder is known to have mild adaptogenic properties. In Ayurvedic practice, common uses of tulsi include treatments for: asthma, bronchitis, colds, congestion, coughs, flu, sinusitis, sore throat and similar ailments.
You can just mix our tulsi powder with a spoonful of ghee, oil or honey. It can be enjoyed daily as a tea.
